For the OR Staff

The OR Desk will receive a confirmation call the day prior to the scheduled procedure. Intra-Op Monitoring Services’ technologists arrive 1-1 ½ hours prior to scheduled start time and begin with BioMed checks. The next steps are placing leads on the patient in pre-op and setting up the computer and head boxes in the operating room. All they will need is a small table for the amplifier, computer (laptop) and printer and an internet connection or phone line. In no way should OR staff be inconvenienced or held up by the presence of our technologists. After the procedure, all leads and electrodes will be removed from the patient and paperwork left for the patient chart. The full interpretation report is available to the hospital upon request.
